Sunset does NOT have open enrollment. Because Westview and Sunset are so overcrowded, but Westview more so, they allow some transfers.

Not going to work - Jesuit's squad is significantly upgraded from the 3rd Crusade. Monks back then didn't have the best foot skills.

Beaverton school district has open enrollment and they also allow inter district transfers. Again we live in Westview boundary but attend Sunset and we did this because Ben D asked

USA Today Coaches Ranking puts Jesuit at #2 in the nation. The rest of you all are fighting for the pride and prestige of second place.

Good for Ben. It is better to have a coach that wants to win then one who does not care.

No one forced your school to schedule a pre season game against Jesuit.

Go cry to your AD for scheduling the game.

I don't think anyone from an opposing team is telling your coach which players they should play, when, and how.

They graduated 10 seniors last year. This is a rebuilding year. League plays has not even started yet. There is still a lot of season ahead.

They will be undefeated into the playoffs. Some enterprising team might just come up with a outlandish strategy that gets the game into PKs in the playoffs.

Well someone suggested getting the Jesuit JV team to play the Varsity and move the younger Jesuit keeper to the JVs. Now there is a State Championship Battle Royale.

They are great, but it is soccer and one thing is for sure. All teams can be beat and not always the best team wins. There is hope for some other schools. I see maybe 2 or 3 that can beat them if they are really on and Jesuit is not. This is what makes soccer fun, even the soccer giants can fall on any given day.

That is the beauty of all sports. If it was all already decided then why even play. Every team can be beat.

Definitely gives them something to work harder for and a goal to strive for. Win or lose. Imagine that, if in HS athletics they can learn some good work ethics and life lessons.
