This could be the dumbest idea ever. Maybe we can get residents of the town of New London to pay these players salaries, they have nothing to do with the new team either. How about the team pay for itself or fold as we do in open market systems. You're a true blue democrat, aren't you ..... someone else has to pay for an idea that may or may not work.

PS - Youth soccer is already expensive enough and now you want to saddle those parents with an extra $1,000 or more per year per player to pay for pro players to play as well as their own kids ..... you simply have to be joking.

why would hartford athletic even consider merging with hartford city because of the 50 people that come and watch there games at ccsu?

You have no idea what your talking about. Stop making assumptions, there’s no way you know the numbers. You do know the 1M stadium footing snafu was paid for by someone outside the organization right? Didn’t put a dent in their budget. Stop making stuff up.
