Lights cost money, that’s why you don’t have them and that’s why it took a whole year to get your second field completed, which by the way is still not done

HS aged FSA ECNL girls teams could practice 3 times per week if they wanted to ...... But I guess as long as they can keep finding pigeons they can charge $4K for a short season with limited practices and continue to be ECNLs red-headed step child.

LOL. Simple question. Why would you need lights? You sound like a parrot. Need lights. Need lights. Without a clue as to why you would actually need them. You’re obviously a CFC hater. They have a great facility that they built. You are probably BS, who took donations and still don’t have a facility. Clown. Put yourself in time out.

You really are the dumbest person alive. Hopefully Trump will institute policy that requires a certain IQ to vote. You’d be out of luck but the plus side is you wouldn’t have anything to worry about on election day. No one NEEDS lights. Not when you have indoor fields that are large and teams don’t share. CFC teams get more out of the winter than any of the other clubs in the state by a mile. 3 times a week all winter. 3 times a week in the spring. Top notch facility. But by all means, trek outside in Durham in 25 degree weather with 30 mile an hour winds on a patch of frozen turf that never completely clears. Let’s see who’s better prepared come spring time. What an absolute idiot.

Are you saying lights aren’t needed? How would their teams practice without them?

Lights aren’t needed at CFC. There is this thing called daylight. Then they have an indoor facility with the exact same surface as outdoors, along with a similar sized training area. Not sure why that is so difficult to understand.

Well, they’re not in kindergarten, sparky so they get out of school at 2:00.

So, what time do CFC practices begin then, Chip?

How do they get to 2:30pm CFC practice? Mom and dad don’t work?

Without lights, and outdoor field is essesntially useless Monday thru Friday unless it’s summer. People who are arguing otherwise haven’t thought this thru. Does CFC’s other outdoor field have lights? If no, perhaps zoning prohibits them and that would indicate a really poor choice of location for this facility. Lights are an absolute must.

The only field operational doesn’t have lights

Then I’d have to believe zoning prevents lighting on the site. I can’t believe anyone would build a facility nowadays without lights. In terms of the total cost to put in a new turf with lights (running wires, poles and hardware) the lights are only a small percentage, probably not even 100k.

                              How about lack of budget

Do millennial’s already have teenage children? What’s with all of this drama?

I have one kid that went through the United program and another in it now. In prior years the program was based at Post U. One field no lights. Indoor was a the arena in Hamden. Games mostly at Post but occasional use of other fields.

Last time I checked, CFC is going to have side by side turf fields and a brand new indoor building? Pretty solid upgrade!

The great thing is assuming your kid is good enough you can vote with your checkbook. If exterior illumination (movie reference) is critical then I’d suggest a drive up to Farmington
