Find that hard to believe. Where does the revenue come from? I get the expenses....uniforms, travel costs, coaching salaries, scholarships, support staff salaries, etc, but where does revenue come from? Tv contracts? Bowl money? The gate at games? Please, how much can they earn from the gate?

CT is full of stupid people. There is no taxation on scholarships for men's soccer. Fully endowed 40 years ago. Stupid fing people here

2 more games 2 more loses. Not pretty in Storrs. A once storied program down the toilet. Incoming freshman that the present coach recruited are not doing anything and the 2019 class doesn’t look. UCB better. It will take years for whoever is next to take over UConn to fix this cluster

As has been discussed it also requires a university/AD that cares. With a poor track record and not a great conference UCONN will be a tough sell for top players. You need a top coach who is part salesman, and that requires spending more to get that coach.

If there is any school that should give up the football ghost, it's UConn. Get back to the Big East and save some money. 3 wins a year is no way to run a program and it hurts the rest of the athletic dept. You got screwed by the ACC. It's time to move on.

Sure, they can give up football, become a private Catholic/Christian university and then join the Big East again. Easy.

The UConn coach seems to be recruiting on high school stats and friends of the coaches. And it shows. Go to some of these ECNL/DA club tournaments and recruit some real talent. These NPL recruits aren’t working.
