They are shortened to 50 minutes.

Lol. We've seen that team play. Getting some decent results is not the same as doing well.

Westside parent here, cheering for Crossfire because they seem to be the only chance for Oregon teams saving face. TA seems to be doing ok as well. The rest of our DA teams are obviously struggling. Maybe it will help the enormous, misplaced egos at some of these clubs. Traveling to get your ass kicked sucks, but if there is a silver lining in any of it, hopefully these teams can come home with a realistic understanding of their place in youth soccer. It's not significant at all. So while you think you are the **** (talking to you WA Timbers), you really aren't.

IP address shows you are actually an ex-Westside parent who now has a kid on TA.

Now that is funny and not true at all. Nice try.

Even if you were an admin here and could see the OP's IP address, chances are you couldn't get the OP's service provider to tell you who they were.

              But nice try.

TA actually won 2-0. Error on the game report.

Why did some kids get benched for whole games? Is TA about development or win at all costs??

Not to mention, a couple of them didn't make the trip. But there were a few that went down to San Jose, and either got benched for entire games. One player got a grand total of 11 minutes in the tournament.

That shows a total lack of integrity from the TA coaches and ALL the parents that stand by and say nothing. These boys are twelve.

Stop trying to protect 12 year olds who are supposedly on a professional track. If the kid's not capable of playing on that weekend, don't take him. If he's not capable of ever being a professional, don't roster him. If the coach doesn't understand the level the kids need to be at until the kids are in CA and on the field, then fire the coach.

If none of that is the case, and you're leaving a pro-prospect on the bench for all but 11 minutes after flights and hotels, well then you're doing it wrong.

In this case, the player who got 11 minutes total was you-know-who.
