Yep just like I said Jeff cup is rescheduling for three weekends in July provided they get the all clear by June 8. As was said on here - the morons that claimed it was fake news don’t know their azz from a hole in the ground. They just spout off without a clue and there favorite saying is fake news.

Those will be prime weeks for soccer ID camps at schools. Attending coaches will be sparse.

If the leagues r canceled, why would anyone bother going to Jeff cup? It’s not going to be safe to travel still. U gotta think man.

U gotta do your research before you blankety state “fake news”.

Fact the organizers did put out an email stating they are rescheduling for the three weekends in July as long as they get the all clear by June 8. Email provided a link for teams to register and they have to do so by June 15. Email also said if teams don’t participate there will be no refunds, additionally it stated if they are unable to hold the tournament at all there will be no refunds.

I never weighed in on what I “ thought “ just provided the information I received. You are an azzhat.

Governor of VA (Democrat who got caught wearing blackface) just shut down Virginia through June 10th.

Email that was sent to coaches.

                  Jefferson Cup Teams,

With the extraordinary circumstances that made us cancel (now postponed) the last 3 weeks of the 2020 Jefferson Cup, we have been working diligently to determine a solution and outcome for teams.

Over the past week, we have been able to solidify new dates for this year's event. As long as we have an "All Clear" from USYS and/or US Club by June 8, 2020, we will be hosting the three remaining weekends on the following dates:

                  Girls Weekend - July 18-19, 2020
                  Girls Showcase - July 24-26, 2020
                  Boys Showcase - July 31-August 2, 2020

All accepted teams will have the opportunity to participate without any additional entry fee. To confirm participation, please use the registration link below. The deadline to confirm participation is June 15, 2020.

*Should your team choose not to participate, unfortunately, refunds will not be provided. If we do not receive an "All Clear" by June 8, we will have to cancel the three weekends, without any possible refunds.

We look forward to hosting your team in July!

USYS just canceled their National Championship and the President’s Cup.

They’ve conceded that soccer is over.

                          Why the blackface comment?
Has he just shut down the black community?
                          Completely gratuitous to the discussion.

They have to because knock out state games would be ramping up in April. With April 40th as a best case scenario there simply isn't time. Several states won't be reopening schools at all, so there also won't be youth sports there.

Not for nothing, but Vermont closed schools until the Fall not too long ago. Personally I think that is overkill as this won't be a major problem in a low density state like Vermont, but at least they recognize that school is done and people can make arrangements instead of moving the goal posts every few weeks.
