Think about what you’re asking for a second. Why would any club waste time coming out with info on tryouts? No one knows when the clubs will be able to even hold practices/games again let alone tryouts. Stop the hand wringing and let it play itself out.

If CT is doing better and NY/NJ/etc are not, CT clubs could still begin training again. Games and travel will need to wait.

Not if you're surrounded by other states that are still struggling and there's so much interstate travel between all of them. MA has a high case load too.

So true. In 20 years when these girls look back on their HS years, some will be totally bummed they played HS and were named all league, all state, even all American. I feel bad for those kids.

At the same time, in 20 years some lucky kids will at least be able to remember all the good times practicing with their mediocre club team and playing mediocre competition before their soccer careers ended when they didn't get recruited.

I agree- so much better to be unknown except by your teammates- who think you are awesome
getting recognized by conf coaches, state coaches region wide or even nationally is OVERRATED when compared to adoration from the mecca of the round ball Portland CT

The economy will crash and we won't need to worry about much if all this happens. If pro sports all don't come back and no college football along with small businesses all closing what will everyone do?

Real estate will be worth nothing because nobody will have money, The world will come to an end. No way school will be back either if there are no sports. Classes are worse that a field in spreading this virus.

Nothing will matter anymore. The virus wins GAME OVER

Absolute nonsense, the spring season wouldn't normally start till after easter anyway. Most teams that use grass would not even be outside practicing till then either.

The season will start mid-may and go through June.

It usually would start mid-April through the end of May so no real difference.

We simply can't predict that far out, but it's pretty clear spring club season won't happen or at best it gets jammed into the summer. Several states, including CA, have already said they won't go back to school this year. You can't justify sports resuming if school isn't.

Good news is we made the team. Yup me and my daughter. We made it already. I just wrote a check to FSA. So there's no worries for us anyhow
