The top teams will continue to get stronger. It will be telling the movement at the U14,15 and 16 age groups. With kids needing to figure out if high school is important or not. Will Oakwood lose more players?FSA should be the club to add the most.

given the choice most kids would choose HS and they would be right- there are a small handful of kids in this state where that choice actually has merit and most of them already play HS

The other issue as to when it may or may not start back up is the clubs are most likely following in what US youth soccer or US club soccer mandates. They are probably making decisions on a national basis. CT could have falling numbers or no new cases for 2 weeks yet DC or NY or whoever could be bad causing decisions to be made to cancel everything.

seems you must have your kid at a HS where they like the long ball (nothing wrong with it if that's the make up of your team)- so good for you, you get a nice patch for your backpack and a nice story to tell your friends

they will first determine who still wants to be on their team
then they will attempt to fill in any holes with new players
then and only then will they try to determine if they can upgrade any areas
its really the same directive they have been using all along but you seemed to need a NEWSFLASH
