You are either dense or have no clue how big boy soccer works. Take guys like Reyna or Pulisic. Their clubs would basically sell their rights to european clubs for millions which would fund their development and every team before and after them for decades ... and that is only with a single top player. The best clubs in the country would turn a few of these guys out a year .... honestly, I could see top MLS academies making more in player transfer fees than MLS revenues. So, the only one failing to use logic is you, you f'ing moron! You know what's even better?! The pretenders will quickly be forced out and more power would go to the clubs doing it right. Everyone with talent would flock to these meccas and the top ones .... even moreso. No dropping your checkbook at the front desk to earn a shiny patch sleeve. I would have to imaging that SoCal, TX, NY Metro, FL, and a handful of other places would amass the most amazing teams that no current team could touch! When MLS drops out of DA, watch what happens .... scattered talent from all over DA will flock to those places strengthening them infinitely and they will be untouchable. On the girls side, this will be nearly impossible to do as girls sports worldwide are never profitable. Oh well.
It’s a medical miracle! You were born without a brain! First of all, no European clubs are paying millions for the rights to 3-4 players every ten years. Secondly, you are missing the biggest problem. The size of the country. The expenses for travel would be enormous. Not worth the expense. That’s why the MLS went in with the academy to begin with. So they could limit travel costs. Here’s another problem. Missed time from school because of all the travel.

You are really dense. Is this Bernie Sanders? Just because something sounds cool, doesn’t make it logical. Stay in the yard and leave the big boy discussions to the rest of us, moron.

Coaches have the same style of pyramid as the players. Coaches get paid better as they move up the pyramid. Those coaching local/town teams can easily remain to be volunteers or parents. Those coaches can then choose to move up with training and experience to advanced levels.

Your model seems to think the best players and best coaches can be just identified immediately and then everyone else should give up already.

Why, the cra-cra parents here pay a fortune to have their little ones abused!

It will take about 2 years to filter out, but, by then, will be mostly right (like 95% or better) and everyone will know who the best teams, clubs, and coaches are for their age groups.

Dude, please stop talking. You may be the dumbest MF on TS and that says a lot. Do you think soccer in the rest of the world is not profitable? It is the largest and most profitable sport in the world. More than MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL .... I wonder if the entire world of soccer isnt likely worth more than those 4 leagues collectively. Do us all a favor and stick some dirty socks in your mouth and then wrap it all with several rolls of duct tape .... then drop some cinder blocks on your hands to make sure you cant type either.

You are an absolute idiot. You really are. Those countries are the size of Ohio you dolt. Good lord, how could you be so stupid? Do you really think that if this was a viable option, that someone far smarter than you wouldn’t have thought of it? Hahahahaha. Here’s a thought. Don’t waste valuable time from making the fries posting on TS.

Now it’s time to take you to school. The EPL is the 4th most profitable league in the world, ahead of hockey, and behind the NFL, MLB and NBA. The EPL’s strength is driven at the top with lower level teams struggling to break even. In La Liga, Barcelona, arguably the best club in the world over the past decade, LOST 40 million dollars. As for valued franchises, the NFL has a whopping 30 of the 50 most profitable franchises in the world.

So no, those clubs aren’t spending money over here mining for gold nuggets you absolute turd brain. So stop talking crap and STHU once and for all. The fries need to be tossed again.

Oh, they lost $40M over the last 10 years? Did they? Awwww, poor them ..... has the team value declined in the last 10 years as well or did it increase exponentially to over $4B where it is now! It's like buying a house for $100k, sinking another $100k into it and saying you broke even when the house now has a value of $1M! You find the most insignificant square points and try to hammer then incorrectly into the round holes. Seriously ... shut up.

It would be helpful if you posted links. You fail to mention that 2 of the top 5 or 3 of the top 10 most valuable sports franchises are soccer clubs. Not surprising since that doesn’t fit your narrative. Do you know why Barcelona lost 37 million last year?

Overspent on players. It’s laughable that anyone thinks they’re going to fund youth programs over here. It really is. And the MLS clubs are barely profitable. Don’t get me wrong. I think it would be wonderful. But I also am a realist and don’t believe in criticizing an existing system without a viable alternative. That’s what Democrats do.
