    Coaching

My daughter is playing in college and looking to get into coaching after graduation. She's looking for guidance on license courses to take etc. Is there a state resource person she can contact to create a path, find coaching classes and schedules etc. I checked the state site and can't find anything. Is there a point person?

She could ask her coach or one of the assistants.

CJSA website is constantly listing courses. Also go to the USSF website and register there.

This is what happens when you follow the dream of playing soccer in d1 and chose a school for soccer instead of academics ..... Forced into an unemployable major so you could make practices and games (whether you play or not) and now doomed to a low-paying, low level youth club soccer career at Simmons or oakwood.

If she has an English accent then she can coach for CFC. If you knocks out a kid soon, she can become a mommy coach at OW

And your quote is exactly what happens when you flunk out of high school and skip classes. Pay attention you dolt. The OP never said D1. Your reading comprehension is pitiful. Maybe she’s d3? What the hell does the level matter? Maybe she just wants to give back to a sport that’s given so much to her. Or, God forbid, this is something she actually wants to do. Yes, she should give up her dream so YOU are happy. Good for her. We need more coaches. And less people like you.

Or maybe, just maybe, she wants to do it part time not a fulltime career like many coaches do?

A good starting point is the grassroots courses. These are a decent start and give you an idea of the progression in US soccer. Check the website out: https://www.ussoccer.com/coaching

There are some areas that offer these in person, I believe the convention at the casino coming up offers them. You can also take them right on-line on the website above. Good luck, it's good to see players coming back to teach and coach.
