Although this is a lacrosse player, student athletes should never post racist content to their social media. This girl just had her scholarship taken away and admissions to the school. https://marquettewire.org/4033375/sp...nts-community/

But, today, people will twist it how they want.
Support the police? You are racist.
Support BLM? You are an anarchist.
Say you love women? You are dirty
Say you love to watch the EPL? You are sexist.

A similar thing - pictures that have hand signs in them. Who knows what the kid thought it meant, but if a team picture appears it puts the kid, the team, the coach, and the club or school at risk. Best to just avoid all that.
Coaches should tell the kids no hand signs of any kind in photos in uniform or with team mates.

"The message read “some ppl think it’s ok to f—— kneel during the national anthem so it’s ok to kneel on someone’s head. come at me. y’all brainwashed. kind disgusting lowkey,” which prompted frustration from numerous Marquette students, alumni and student organizations over the weekend."
There is nothing wrong with that statement. God forbid someone should have a differing opinion.
We have lost our collective minds.
Social media is the spawn of the devil.

She later admitted she was not oblivious, just appallingly tactless. Credit to her for owning up, unlike a bunch of the "adults" here. People say things all the time that are actually worse than they thought. Doesn't make them right.
