Good, now keep all the kids out of school, make one zoom class for each class, lay off 70% of the professional staff, 3/4 of the admin staff and all of the services staff and cut our taxes!

Don't just cut taxes. Return taxes. I hope the whole school committee is tossed out on their ear. Morons. Poor kids not that the adults seem to care.

Poor kids suffering for political motives.

Should dismiss the whole school board.

Give parents their education $ do they can choose an alternative

They aren't cancelling school, just sports which is an optional, non-educational activity.

and many kids don't play sports, fewer in any one season. Boards have to consider the entire population.

Seriously?! Lay off 70% of the professional staff? The teachers? I guess you don’t care too much about education. Who do you think is running Zooms, providing instruction, giving students feedback and holding them accountable for attending and completing work? By class do you mean the entire grade? With one teacher giving feedback.🤦🏻

Since he's on a youth soccer board, one could assume his own children have benefited greatly from those tax dollars he pays to hire all those teachers, no? So many blowhards on this board. He'd be the first complaining if staff got cut at his kids' schools

lol right? I looked and this was the closest thing I could find - an article about an upcoming meeting and this quote

"The Boston Herald reported Saturday the task force will recommend the start of the fall season be delayed until Sept. 14. The T&G has heard a similar timeline with two weeks of preseason practice beginning in mid-September and competitions commencing Oct. 1."
