Well after the latest travel restrictions there's no, that's going to be able to have kids from Rhode Island on their team and play in Massachusetts without showing a confirmed positive test 72 hours ahead of them participating. Same for parents. And don't think for one instant that someone won't rat out a town or Club who has kids on their teams or on a team from Rhode Island.

Now if that traveling restriction ban is lifted then all is back to how it was just a week ago.

The Coastal Youth Soccer League has left it up to individual towns as to whether or not they will participate in a limited scheduled amount of games after Columbus Day. They have left it up to individual towns as to whether or not they will just stick to a in town recreational program or have teams play after Columbus Day in league sanctioned games. None of any travel games are worth a matter anyhow in the fall so who knows how many towns or what ages will actually play against other towns after that date?

Not to cloud the issue with reason and logic, but I was our town registrar for a number of years for both rec, fall travel and spring travel. There were multiple hoops to jump through to get an out of town player registered on a travel team. (Town A had to make the request for the out of towner, and Town B's board had to approve it, and submit all the paperwork to Mass Youth).

For border out of state players, just as much paperwork, except now you're dealing with two state entities instead of towns.

If this is something people are really interested in, I'd suggest starting your due diligence now to find out exactly what will be required for this to be allowed. You may need releases at both the town and state level.
