Exactly why we left...lazy coaching and no big picture plan. Coaches ran the same drills every practice never changing a thing and gameday sat, watched, said nothing. Babysitting. Not development. No one from up top ever once checked in with our parents to see how their "employee" was doing.

The answer to anything that is critical is "you must have been cut or not selected "
Instead of having a real point.

FC supporters can't seem to handle that the initial thread was very factual and on point. This club knows nothing about developing players . They think teaching tactics proves they know soccer. Tactics are easy to teach . The technical part is hard to teach but is the necessary building block in developing a player. Watch their coackes, they set up drills ,they don't know the purpose of the drill and to compound it they don't correct player mistakes , instead they watch ,when they are not on their phone, players continue to make the same mistakes with no correction. That's babysitting but not development .

What you meant to say is that your kid ride the pine on the B team and you didn't like it. Go away. Don't go away mad. Just go away.

Wrong. My kid started. Got lots of playing time. Played on a Navy team. Still left.

Correct. Why try when they simply can talk their way into finding another player to replace yours. Fcp hate to think it but they are the ones getting taken for fools.

Your kid wasn't nearly as good as you thought he/she was. You got miffed that she rode the pine on the C team. You left for a Mickey Mouse neighborhood club where your kid starts on the A team in 2nd division White. Happy?

If you can afford $10,000/year you can get her on the encl league team. All levels of talent accepted.

$2500 per year + travel. Same cost as any travel team in Oregon. And the ECNL teams will easily beat any other Oregon teams. Easily.

I didn't realize FCP was the only one that charged for training and required parents to pay for their childs travel. All the other clubs in OR and SW WA are free?! I'm sending an email to our DOC at Eastside and demand a refund since it's supposed to be free.

Um, you don't have a DOC at Eastside.

WAHOOOO! Unfortunately they cannot beat any team out of state and that is the whole point of ECNL.
