Okay why wasn't DiVanna a PK taker or on the pitch as a sub? She is still fast and a scoring threat at her age. Nor would have had to account for her at all times. When she is on the pitch, Kerr isn't triple teamed.
Also, why didn't coach take out Williams (who looked spent) and use the UCLA GK who has been in multiple college cup GK situations (UCLA v. Duke in 2017; UCLA vs. UNC 2018; and then some).
AUS' new coach seems to have been the problem. Not a fan. They were undefeated prior to his appointment. Shame. How many brackets did that upset screw up?

I don’t blame the coach. Without Kerr, Australia would be ranked lower than Norway.
Per Google: In 2015, De Vanna captained the Matilda's in her 100th game, scoring their only goal in a 3–1 defeat to the United States in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Presently, De Vanna is the highest goal scorer in Matildas history, with 47.

People are not happy with the overuse of VAR...using it as a crutch when calls are obvious, the whole GK mess. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/4...ource=facebook
