The 4th bracket at jeff cup

      The answer is no

      This is no different

This is a way to make money for the ecnl
      Nothing else

22 on ecnl roster and don’t want 23on to go anywhere else
My kid played in the 7th bracket at Jeff Cup this March and had over 75 coaches watch her games over the three days based on the number of brochures we handed to coaches. Not sure why the 4th bracket would be any less than that.

Ask yourself why pda pulled out of the da

They are one of the founding members of ecnl

They were afraid the ecnl was going to become the b league and they would lose their power and control

Why do you think there are only 2 ecnl clubs in nj

Because pda wants to make sure there are no other options.

You must be new to youth soccer
PDA pulled out of GDA because it was financially beneficial for them to do so. They know that whatever league they are in will be considered the top league in this area.

They know about a league that hasn't started yet? They should use their ability to predict the future and buy some stocks and lottery tickets. ECRL.will be NPL equivalent. A perfectly fine and somewhat more organized C league. Theres plenty of C league players who find success playing in college.

Plenty of players from NE NPL (now ECRL) go on to play college soccer. Here's an example of nearly 100 commits from the league in 2017:

ECRL is re-branded NE NPL with some better features like being able to qualify for ECNL Showcase. But agree that that poster is underestimating NE NPL.

Then it will go to c level and d level until we are back to the beginning with all kids in the same league at different levels. Only the cost will have increased 500 percent.
ECNL-R is copying the EDP Club v Club and Regional National Leagues. Where the latter are nice landing spots for GDA 3rd teams.

Also lets not lose sight of the fact ECNL-R is not limited to just the ECNL teams. Any club can apply. So the debate is finish 1st in ECNL-R and attend the ECNL playoffs or finish first in EDP and go to the USYS Nationals. There is not really a comparison to make ECNL will be the better event. USYS is not better than the NPL finals.

Both are much lower level and will get worse as time goes on

Town teams are as good as those teams

                    Look at Howell

                    There are 2 real
                    Options gda and ecnl

Somebody really has it in for this league. It's merely a rebranding of NE NPL along with an expansion into other regions. Not all clubs have B teams and across the US those that do may play in different leagues. This is a consolidation for B teams under an ECNL umbrella. Teams are still light years ahead of town teams, so enough with that nonsense. You must have something to lose by this move.

Where did it say only 1 team goes to the ECNL Showcase? If that’s true, then it’s no better than NE NPL where only 1 team goes to NPL Finals. I thought multiple teams go to each division at the ECNL Showcase?

Of course. All the players paying through the nose for ecnl lose by this nonsense. Cheapens what it means to play in ecnl. No league is special or meaningful of they all are. Is what it is and what it is is making money.

How does it cheapen it? How does it impact players who are in ECNL? Do college coaches suddenly think that those players are somehow less talented?
