I see that Jill Ellis removed the Christian girl who wouldn't wear the rainbow jersey from the roster. What a time we live in when respecting the word of Christ gets you removed from the United States national team and probably shunned in her community.

The structure has changed. No way he can do what he used to. Go look at how many FCS kids from the 00s made a YNT camp.

GDA is not based on what you said. Its based on spending more time with the best talent and providing an environment in which they can maximize talent. In theory that should be how you produce a few players capable of making NTs, but its not a direct path. Time will tell if it works.

GDA is like College - means tested. Given the demographics of the sport - Middle class college types from affluent areas - its hardly surprising that its not free for many. It is free for some. Girls soccer is a money maker because parent are willing to pay.

Call it marketing, pressure, bait and switch....whichever you prefer
I have an issue with specific guys with influence stuffing their kids into YNT camps en masse. There are now checks and balances that will make this a lot less likely.

No. You have an issue with your daughter attending every ID event, taking a lot of shots and scoring a lot of goals, and being told time and again one and done.

Word of Christ? Try to get outside your West Virginia Pentecostal, snake-handling shack once in a while.

Are there no Christian lesbians or homosexuals?

So she hasn't been attending Id events but is still being overlooked for the NT. Got it.

Just in the odd chance that you are seriously asking. The answer is yes. God and Christ loves everyone. Just because they are attracted to the same sex doesn't mean they can't accept Christ as their savior and live by his word. In this case living by his word would mean not having intimate contact with someone of the same sex. God reserved sex only between a married man and woman. Any intimate contact in any situation outside of that would be considered sinful, be it hetero or homosexual. God looks at your heart. If someone is seriously pursuing a relationship with Christ, that doesn't mean they are perfect and not capable of giving into sexual desire in a rare circumstance. But if they are living a lifestyle that clearly shows disdain for God's word then they possibly never were a serious Christian or are flirting with falling away from God. Once someone seriously repents from sin (doesn't mean they will ever be perfect and not sin)and accepts Christ as their savior, Christ will never leave them. But someone may voluntarily forfeit their relationship with Christ by living a life blatantly away from him.

                      All the best!

At the heart of the claim that the Bible is clear "that homosexuality is forbidden by God" is poor biblical scholarship and a cultural bias read into the Bible. The Bible says nothing about "homosexuality" as an innate dimension of personality. Sexual orientation was not understood in biblical times. There are references in the Bible to same-gender sexual behavior, and all of them are undeniably negative. But what is condemned in these passages is the violence, idolatry and exploitation related to the behavior, not the same-gender nature of the behavior. There are references in the Bible to different-gender sexual behavior that are just as condemning for the same reasons. But no one claims that the condemnation is because the behavior was between a man and a woman.

So as usual the facts have been twisted to fit the narrative

Fact: Jaelene Hinkle left the team on her own prior to two June friendlies
Fact. she was on the roster for both games prior to leaving for personal reasons
Fact: Those were the games that rainbow numbers were utilized to celebrate Gay Pride
Fact. She has played a total of eight games since 2015
Fact: Her beliefs on homosexuality were well known prior to her other call ups. Yet she was still named to the team

She wasn't removed; she left in June. She wasn't a regular

LOL. And no doubt you believe there is an old white man with a grey beard way up in the sky on a cul-de-sac next to The Tooth Fairy and Peter Cottontail.
