How does uncollected dues impact you? Oh yeah, it doesn't. Or leave if you're so dissatisfied.

Sounds like the return of the AC CT Slammer. Comes on once in awhile to bash the club. Probably from CFC since the split was anything but amicable.

AC develops their kids. It's not business driven like all the other clubs.

It doesn't impact me (nice for those families). It's just one of many example of poor management.

Keep blaming CFC for the criticism that was three years ago. CFC has moved on and is making money. CFC doesn't have a problem with uncollected debt. CFC makes a Nice straw man argument though

Make some changes to management. Won't be long before PD stops subsidizing or sells

PS. When was the last time the PDL team had a winning season.

Isn't the PDL team only 2-3 years old? Tough to manage a winning team when by it's nature - college students - the roster changes all the time?

I'm not the poster but there is someone with an issue against AC. I've seen it multiple times.

No club is six years old. It started as CFC Azul in 2011 with first games in 2012.

Yes roster changes every year. There are only seven teams in their conference so most years they have been close to bottom feeders. Finishing sixth three years out of six, including last two years is pretty poor

Compare that to Elm City who made the finals in first year

Year Division League Reg. Season Playoffs Open Cup
2012 4 USL PDL 5th, Northeast Did not qualify Did not qualify
2013 4 USL PDL 6th, Northeast Did not qualify Did not qualify
2014 4 USL PDL 2nd, Northeast Conference Semifinals Did not qualify
2015 4 USL PDL 4th, Northeast Did not qualify 1st Round
2016 4 USL PDL 6th, Northeast Did not qualify Did not qualify
            2017 4 USL PDL 6th, Northeast

He loses a lot of money on NYA and PDL team. Look up the NYA, it's public record as it's a 501c3

Additionally he is at a stage in life now where he will be transitioning his various businesses. This is a PR piece. Club will be sold within a couple of years.

Which is fine. Not everyone is in this business for a lifetime. Build a club, sell it for an OK profit. Nothing wrong with that. If the objective is to eventually sell hopefully he won't let it decline. Some club owners hold on too long. I can think of one that has a very long thread on TS that may be past its prime

That he makes club soccer affordable should be commended. Even at full fee, A.C. is a great value and very affordable. If this guy ever built a facility it could be argued he should get the DAP badge.

He's tried to build a facility on FFH but can't get the approval.

Value is there but quality no so much

                          DAP please ...

                          1. Too many CT badges already
                          2. HS coaches couldn't commit to DAP
                          3. Talents not there
                          4. club scrimmaged BS last year and results weren't even close

They lose to a DA program because DA draws all the area talent. Even AC sends it's best to DA.
When AC plays BS premier they demolish them.

I thought they deserved a badge. If you can't even beat a bad DAP team then you don't deserve a badge. The talent won't magically appear you would need to play with the talent on hand

                              BS premier is Travel quality

AC may be a good value, but their teams are not good at all. Look at their results across the board (2005's and older at least) against any of the decent CT teams and it's pitiful.
