I don't think Ginga is an option because it's a culture clash. They could pick off one of the Rush branches. Lot of squabbling in Rushland. JSal has really alienated his underlings and someone is bound to jump ship. In fact I am surprised people have put up with him this long.

I agree that GPS is terrible. They just keep expanding everywhere. Quality is horrific. But that is why they will be moving to CT. Easier if they can acquire an existing club rather than start from scratch. Shoreline is a perfect target: they are are weak and need propping up.

The Wilton branch is very good and competes in the market with some very good coaches. They lose some of their best players to bigger clubs but they are a very good option for those who can't make top rosters or ones that cant commit. JS has tried to create a patchwork of branches but has done a poor job replicating Wilton. He personally runs the branch out of Waterbury and that is a crap show. He is losing players, coaches and the parents are ready to ***** him. His branch in Guilford is average in a weak part of the state. He tried and failed in Farmington with Dave V. And he tried and failed in Bristol. He is also trying to expand into RI and that is also a crap show. Having said all that JS probably could care less, he is making a crap ton of money selling spots to his lucrative camps and international tours. Keep feeding the monster people JS will run this venture into the ground after pocketing mega cash and will pop up somewhere else with a new bottle of snake oil. Already went through this with him and now realize there really is a sucker born every minute. Good luck to you, hope it works out better for you all.

Yes, he has licensed it to a former coach of NEFC. He brought a couple of decent players with him but overall the program is weak. He is pushing into MA as well. Very similar model to GPS. Gobble up territory as fast as you can. Not to concerned with level of play.

I did not say they weren't fun and enjoyable. My point is the JS would never sell out because having a steady supply of customers is very important when sticking these trips. He would never walk away from this opportunity.
