Its petty behavior from adults and shows how transparent agendas are. Kids who were invited to pdp's and graded out at the very top "suddenly" became not good enough to be invited to the finale ?
Hmm. I wonder why.
Marketing? All it shows is how devalued the brand is going to be because its becoming clear that a meaningful number of elite players will not be there next season.

The camp will include approximately 85 of the top female youth soccer players born in 1999, 2000, and 2001 from across the United States. Players have been selected based on their performances at ECNL competitions, ECNL/id2 PDP events and other events throughout the year. In addition, the id2 2002 National Girls Selection and the top 14 players born in 2002 from the id2 Training Camps held over the past 12 months will be participating in the camp.
Participants will have the opportunity to play with and against the best athletes in the country and be coached by an elite staff of youth coaches from across the country.
No they haven't

You truly are an idiot if you think some of the kids doing GDA next season and excluded are not among the areas better players. You are even dumber if you think this represents the top 99 players in the country.
But kudos to you for trolling and missing the point.
The people we are entrusting our kids development to really dont care that much about it. They care a lot more about the $$ associated with it. ECNL parents whose kids are going to the GD have paid , just like everyone else for a full season.

eCNL was founded by Christian Lavers, exec vp of usclubsoccer. DA could not come to an agreement? Draw your own conclusions, but I am not buying it. The ones that lose are the kids.

Very sad that club soccer has become just a business. There is not one club out there who can honestly say they make their decisions in the best interest of the kids. If that were true, they would ask the players & parents for input prior to shoving DA, ECNL, NPL and whatever other alphabet league you can think of, down the paying customer's throat. And you parents who are footing the bill are total suckers.

The ECNL honchos dont care about the kids. They really dont. They dont want some kid going to Seattle and crushing it, knowing full well they are leaving to go to the DA.
