How did all the GPS academy age groups fare yesterday?

Who cares about Academy soccer. Kids should play for their high school team. The more important question is how the GPS ECNL teams did?

GPS has a direct pathway to the FC Bayern Youth Academy. They send 8-10 players per year to the residential program. Once you sign with GPS you officially become a "home grown" prospect. Get your passport in order.

Looking forward to the official announcement.

If GPS gets GDA, then it will solidify my thinking that the GDA has absolutely no desire to be an elite League. Just another watered down money making League under the guise of development.

Someone doesn't like the idea of a national club with ties to FC Bayern competing locally with the precious ECNL and DA girls clubs...

Seems Boston Breakers being last in the NWSL and not worth the money NEFC paid as compared to GPS's investment in Bayern and Bayern being the best in the Bundesliga might make some people butthurt.

WTH are you blabbering about? It has nothing to do with ANY marketing partnership with professional teams, but the fact that it would be about watering down even more, a league that is supposed to be the top of the pyramid. There are already too many teams in the GDA, and adding a 3rd one in one small state would be ridiculous in my opinion. There are not that many "supposed" NT level players to field one team in this state, let alone three in each age group. When you are asking this many girls to sacrifice what they are sacrificing to play in GDA there should be a more significant pay-off than getting to the same exact place they could've gotten to in the NPL (i.e.: low D1 soccer).

Other than spiffy uniforms what has a marketing arrangement with Bayern done for players at GPS?

Better to travel close for uneven competition then travel far. You do not want to travel to play some of the gda clubs out there.

I personally think that the GPS uniforms are the ugliest in New England myself
