It’s more like comparing a can of Coke to a can of Pepsi with an inch of cat’s pee poured in the top. HS soccer has the same effect. Not to everyone’s taste.

Sure it is. You either make $$ from this circus or they really have you right where they want you.

She did and that's why i posted that. I wouldn't know of it if she didn't. HS friends all disappeared and reality sank in.

What really annoys the HS cheerleaders is how irrelevant they have become. 20 years ago HS soccer could still get you a college spot, now it just drags down development.

I disagree with this. Our high scorers on GDA play high school. It’s 8-10 weeks. When they come back, and they slot right in.

Any rumors about who’s taking over GDA? It will be a name.

Irrelevance is so much more painful than genuine disagreement. I almost feel sorry for all those HS players and coaches.

No players can't get college spots because they're expected to play club soccer AND the leagues have made it easier for college coaches to do one stop shopping at showcases. It's created a nice business for clubs and leagues.

Youth soccer industry feeds off of FOMO and status like most products. And lots of products also go through the same cycle of overexposure and cheapening of the brand in exchange ofr greater sales volume.
