Admission standards may be relaxed for some athletes. Staying eligible academically without taking classes like underwater basketweaving is the key.

This isn The U in Fl. And degrees not given away like UNC. Plus underwater basketweaving sounds hard. Could get the bends and hemmorage.

How is tying one of the ACCs worst teams an ok week ? If you want to call BC a top team , then treat them like one. That is a terrible result in a huge game given 2 of last 3 on road vs top level teams

I’m with you on this, it seems Sam C is the only one they can count on consistently for big goals and it’s just too easy to cover s single threat, this may prove out against UNC and possibly to a lesser extent against Duke.

not sure i fully agree with your take. Coffey is a midfielder. Takes every dead ball situation and a lot of shots. Its not that she is the only one you can count on, more that that the coach has built a very one dimensional system that revolves around one player. OV is a very reliable goalscorer. They have talent, but imo they dont spread the ball around enough. Vs god teamms the plan will be try and sit deeper, counter and hope for a set piece goal so they can play defense.

Op here, I agree with your more detailed analysis and OV has also stepped up and is a threat, just not as much so. UNC game will be one to analyze / after the tie with Miami I think there will be trouble for BC in Chappel Hill. I expect Bike and the other girl #9? to take turns getting flattened as the lone cf in a very defensive formation and when relieved JB moves wise right,.. SC and (OV too I guess) is a player who has the depth and strength to push hard all game and things happen because of that - I’d like to see an upset. No skin here but rooting for Boston! Or close enough.

Nice little story about SC on ncaa womens soccer site. I like her. Not a BC fan but will root for the local team. Interesting to note that story states "if she stays with Boston College..." hmmm.
