Some families told there was no coach acknowledged because of no A license but you don’t need an A license to be listed here http://port.ussoccerda.com/club-staff
Every coach has an A license, expect Fernando. Fact

Then whatever your thoughts about Fernando even being allowed to be in the picture...Such as that might be? Are you Okay with a player's dad having that kind of say so?

Is that why Timbers don’t list him on any websites and make him stand with parents at games? So is he salaried by Timbers or a private foundation?

Pretty much. The kids will go in waves to the honey buckets and he will meet them there to make comments.

The requirement is that head coaches have A licenses. Assistant coaches have no such requirement.

05/04 tryouts are complete. The teams for next season are formed. No need for the $125 tryout.

It’s only $100 and yes the 06/05/04 teams are already formed, but they need more kids to sign up for tryouts. The tryout fees are used to help subsidize these teams.

When are they posting coaching assignments? Two weeks from tryouts and still no info.

06s are not formed beyond some no-brainers. Are you trying to get people not to show up so your kid can make it up?

                          That's messed up.

1-14 accounted for across all three of those younger age groups. Training players needed. Will be interesting to see who comes and goes at u15/16. High school and out of state recruitment always mixes things up.

All of the 2006's that went to GA have been offered spots. That leaves about half the roster open.

‘06’s are picked to 13 players. PTFC is now looking for 5-6 DP’s for Training.
