CU and FCP NLI Day: "Crickets"

    1. Looks like a bust for both clubs yet again.

    2. The club hoppers they usually claim hopped to thorns and thorns took credit for them.

    3. Ecnl continues to be a joke for development.

    4. Finding out that College coaches look for talent, not what patch you wear.

    5. The older teams are fading fast.

I guess recruit to win over develop to win isn't working anymore with the thorns running the same model.

Santa Clara, Oregon State, Oregon, Georgetown, Boston University, SPU, San Jose State... those are not bad options.

CU had 11 this year, 24 last year and 12 from 2016 class. I think CU is doing just fine

You should pay attention. Both clubs posted lots of names on social media. More than all Timbers clubs combined.

Grants Pass United had 13 players this year sign, they too are doing just fine.

It's girls soccer everybody gets the opportunity to join (for at least the 1st year) the team at the college level, high demand (Colleges)-very low supply(student-athletes)

Title IX allows us Americans to keep giving trophies out to everybody regardless of ability or skill. It's awesome.

Sound like GP United is doing better than all of the TA clubs

Sometime it’s best to remain quiet and let people think you’re are fool than to open your mouth (or type anonymously online) and confirm to people that you are. Signees don’t have to come onto talking soccer about their commitments. The ones outside looking at them do that for them. Best do your research next time.

What's funny is that there was no shortage of cu apologists on here when they tried to fool people using onyx signs as a way to promote the failing Ecnl league..

But where are they now? Crickets

Just because they don’t flaunt it like Onyx, doesn’t mean they are crickets.

Community college doesn't count as real college soccer.

Maybe not to you but, yes, it does. Maybe it’s not impressive but it is a good fit for some. Congratulations to any girl playing soccer after high school that wants to.

Mouth breathers think this is where you post that kind of information.

Really sad when neither Portland ECNL club has any college signings. This is a new low.

FCP had 15 signings on the 9th. More are likely to come too. I guess haters got to hate.
