    Hardly.

Men play in season almost year long leagues all over the planet throw in the Champions League and other National team competitions etc, etc, etc...it's the most view activity on planet earth.

99.7% of all TV viewers watch male Soccer year round and maybe inflating it bit .03 might watch any women's soccer they admit to.

You are nearly as nuts as the 'green plan'.

    Thanks for the delusion.

You cannot be as stupid as you appear. You wouldn’t be able to function in the world if you were.

The OP clearly meant more people in the US watch the women’s national team vs the men’s national team.

I’ve traveled to both. The outlaws are a solid group of supporters for the men. But going to a women’s game in the US the crowds are double.

The TV ratings for international friendlies at much higher for the USWNT than the USMNT.

Nobody wants to watch the men’s team except at World Cup time. The women could mow their lawn and draw a bigger crowd.

The USMNT is awful to watch. Pitiful soccer and bad personalities.
No way USSF lets this go to court. They know how popular the womens team is. Downside risk is off the charts and they know it. The women know it too and they are taking full advantage.

Going into WC play the last thing USSF wants is bad press. Their ad and sponsorship dollars are critical.

You are beyond clueless if you ever think that more people watch any Women's sport on TV than a comparable Men's sport on a regular (non event) basis . Events like Olympics & WC draw a once in 4 year TV and fleeting audience, guess what, Men's Soccer is a u23 event at the Olympics Sorry you are beyond clueless and have no data to support your wacky assertions.

More people worldwide watch a young American male (Pulisic) play soccer on a given Sunday in the Bundesliga than all US Women playing any where in the world in an entire year.

Your Ignorance allows you to keep posting, well done.

Women's Soccer already has the crown as the downside of the Sport of Soccer.

Nobody is bothered if they play for next to nothing, they can't draw flies to watch them.

                The pay differences are glaring.
Nothing is stopping a women from trying out and making the men's team, that's why there is no gender discrimination. Guess what if they had even equal ability to the men they would be entitled to equal pay. It's really a simple process actually earn what they are trying to sue for.

                This is beyond comical.

But they don't, primarily because men's soccer viewership, ad dollars, sponsorships and FIFA pools are infinitely larger than women's. One poster posted about game attendance - wrong metric mate. That isn't what their pay is based on. Plus at other events the crowds are terrible for women's games - CONCAF had half empty college stadiums. It was painful to see.

If the women want to re-negotiate their contract for different performance metrics that's fine. USSF certainly has enough money in the bank to give them a bigger prize if they winner more WC or Olympics tittles. Truthfully in on some behind the scene things they aren't treated the same as men (per diems, health insurance) and that should be fixed.

Then why does nobody watch NWSL games? Same players. NWSL can't even get their games on TV, and nobody goes to the games. Face it, there is no demand for professional women's soccer in the USA.

                      Fittingly the demand more pay.

I like the curling example of a sport that nobody cares about until they watch them compete in the Olympics, then forget about them completely.

Are the curlers bowling for more dollars too? Like to see their lawsuit efforts.

BTW lost on all this nonsense is a consensual agreement between the players in the form of a collective bargaining.

Nobody is asking them to stay and play for the US, they are welcome to quit and tryout for the Men's team if they want to be paid more for playing Soccer. Or they can find a entry level workforce job and make more with better benefits.

in soccer the women are more successful and more profitable than the men and get paid a fraction.
Median salaries in the WNBA are around $71,635, and starting salaries are $50,000, while players in the Euro League start at $100,000.

To put everything in context, the minimum salary of a professional NBA player is $582,180 highest is 34 million.

The WNBA gals have a much stronger case for equal pay given their extreme disparity to men.

Don’t anger the crazed parents of soccer girls. They believe the entire world revolves around girls soccer and particularly their little Mia that is going to some local D3 to play soccer. Mom & Dad are going to every game.

Because college is the end goal for female players, not a pro path

The women’s national team will receive a large settlement and pay package that somewhat tracks with “departmental” profitability. It will be significant money. These things tend to drag out for a long time so expect a year or more. The players hold all the cards especially in court if public opinion.

Will be a big story line during women’s World Cup.

What happens when precious little mia gets to local d3 and rides the pine? Some local schools take large rosters and promise the world to all 28 players.
