Thorns U19 is good and has several top players. Thorns U17 is hurting and wouldn’t be very competitive even in oysa, much less against ecnl or gps. However, Thorns U17 gets to play out of state teams (some very good some not very good) which is way more exciting than playing the same old oysa teams. Any path can work for individual girls so pick one and be happy. Pros and cons to each path.

Should probably mention that final 4 teams in 6a had CU kids all over the field. Some pretty good players and kids....

There were 50 6A (HS) also ran's teams or what you could affectionately call finalists.
Jesuit ran all over all comers
Losing by 8 to 10 goals is not something pretty good players ever do.
Mediocre mess at HS these dayz.

Clackamas has 8-10 college players on their roster. I would say they are pretty good.

Talent is spread all over but most concentrated at Jesuit this year. Clackamas has quite a few too. Enjoy whichever path you choose. Constantly knocking a successful program only makes you look foolish.
