    Bradenton Cup and Got Soccer

What is with the Bradenton Cup and all of the championship games? It looks like all of the teams got to a final game? And they got ridiculous amounts of got soccer points? How can a team that went 2-2 get to a final (that really wasn't a final) and get 2000 plus got soccer points? There were not even any good teams attending?

Look at the u11 red division. 8 teams entered. 6 teams get to either final a, b or c and each winner pulls in 2000 points.

With having TBU North (who has over 11000 points) and TBU Premier (who have over 7000), means these two brought up the point value for this division.

It looks like it was only done in the u11 red group. Every other has a real champion. It must be a mistake. I get the "everyone is a winner" mentality in the younger ages but to do this at u11 and to assign that many points to teams that couldn't win their group seems wrong.

****AVOID**** Any and all events run by Soccer Skillz Unlimited. The tournament director does not know what he is doing. Rather then run a truly competetive event, he caters to certain clubs and teams. He makes several brackets, so everyone gets a trohpy. They are poorly run and a complete joke!

Also notice that on got soccer just above the THREE FINALS from just two groups it is titled U9/U10 for some reason.

Mark, quit trolling. You guys usually have 10-12 brackets so everyone gets a picture with the rodent.

Ok, maybe that bumped up the points but there should be only 1 overall champion in a group of 8 teams and not have 3 championship games.

Wow, three teams got championship points and three other got finalists’ points. Talk about giving away points.

The three so called champions should not get 2000 plus points each when the flight ranking for all 8 teams was 2400. Please some got soccer guru explain this to me.

Not a guru but Braden River should have taken home the points along with Chargers for the next finish. Clearly they were the real winners of this group. The rest were consolation games.

This is typical of the poorly run Soccer Skillz Unlimited torunaments. The tournament director makes several brackets so everyone gets a trophy. No competetion, 4 different brackets with only four or five teams, so there is 4 finals. Best to avoid any Soccer Skillz Unlimited events.

Naples Lions got 1136 points for a draw and 2 losses. Seems legit. Lol

It did not happen in this group.
