We are new to super y. My son's friend played at gold soccer last year and they had a good experience. My son will be trying out for gold soccer. I think their website is great and it gave me a lot of information on super y. www.goldsocceracademy.com

The west pines fields are terrible. I love the idea of my daughter being at American Heritage Plantation. It's so nice there and it's much closer to my home.

American Heritage sounds great. I rather pay a little bit more but have my son and daughter with better coaches than west pines.

Wp doesn't impress me after checking the stats from last year. Gold soccer had some great teams last year. The majority of the teams made the Super Y League, North American Finals. Who will be the coaches this year?

My 13 yr old daughter will attend Gold soccer tryouts on the 22nd. I was very happy with last years experience.

PLANTATION, Fla. - Gold Soccer Academy is pleased to announce its 2015 Super Y-League tryouts. In 2014 Gold Soccer Academy was able to advance two teams from the Southeast Division into the Super Y-League North American Finals. While competing at the SYL North American Finals, the club also had two players selected to the All-Tournament Team and have had another twelve (12) players who were selected to attend the upcoming SYL ODP National Camp. Gold Soccer Academy Director Todd Goodman comments on his academy, "Since Gold Soccer Academy is not affiliated with the State Association (FYSA), we concentrate our efforts exclusively on the Super Y-League," said Goodman, who will once again serve as a SYL ODP National Staff Coach for the upcoming 2015 Super Y-League National Camp. We utilize a rotating staff which enhances a player’s overall development by being subjected to various teaching methods & idealogies. COST: $380 All Inclusive (Includes player/league registrations, insurance, field rentals, referee fees, uniforms & coach’s compensation). Players are to bring Proof of Birth document and photograph as those selected will be required to register immediately after their respective tryouts to ensure roster selection.

So do not go to wp for the girls syl go to gold. Gold and wp for the boys both have good coaches so it would be just your preference.

Both my kids played last year at gold for the first time and they enjoyed it. Wp is closer but the experience at gold soccer is well worth the drive.

We played last year and are not going back. My son was on the U12 program last year. They said one thing and did another. They told us we were going to be with one coach then put us on another team. They accepted U10 players to play just to fill a roster and have two teams.

We didn't win a game had to go to jacksonville to get slaughtered with no bench playing in 100 degree weather with 10 year olds playing against 13 year olds.

The registration was a joke some players because they weren't born here and they screwed up with the registration missed games, two had to get a refund because their international clearance took so long.

Not enough uniforms ordered. Then wrong sizes.

This place was totally a joke a waste of time.

Are you sure you are not talking about wp who gave the players the left overs of there last seasons uniforms. Adult shorts for youth players. I had to go to another store to buy my daughter the shorts in the correct size. The jersey was huge but could not find another to purchase. Current players did not receive a uniform but paid the same amount of money. Not cool at all.

How often will gold practice a week. Also are they quality practices? Also how many teams will be fielded for each age group preferably boys.
