Even with Surf doubling the size of the tournament, the Thorns still couldn't get accepted. Guess 2nd place in OYSA doesn't carry much weight with the tourney organizers.

Funny thing is ECNL oregon would get 2nd, 3rd or worse in most age groups if they did oysa. Thorns would get 1st 9 times out of 10.

Keep believing that if it makes you feel good about your Alliance rec+ program. There isn't one age group where the ECNL teams wouldn't dominate OYSA - DOMINATE

FC Portland's pre-ecnl team played in OYSA spring league. They dominated the TA teams by finishing 3rd in league and not winning state cup. Impressive...

You're not very smart are you. FC Portland's team only got better after tryouts. A lot better as kids from other clubs came Players are coming and that is why clubs like WST are so desperate to fight it.

Lost 1 game all spring. Much better than your Alliance team did.

Hey, if you want to call finishing 3rd in league against the "Rec+ OYSA teams" and losing state cup "dominating OYSA teams," by all means. That attitude will serve you well when you're watching your kid get schooled in ecnl.

Guaranteed they beat your DD's team this spring - assuming your DD doesn't actually plays on a so-called "premier" team.

"Alliance" is that what they are calling all the clubs that slowly merged together to make Crossfire United? It is amazing over the last ten years, Southside and LOSC merged, then west linn, Oregon city, and some others, then finally last year THUSC pulls into the mix. You would expect some cream to rise to the top, but it just appears to be a lot of "floaters".

All of the good players from those clubs leave. You would think that with all of those clubs, they could get numbers. But the U18 ECNL team was lucky to have 10 players show up for games. The U17 and U16 teams are down to two players sitting on the bench.

"Alliance" is the Timbers Alliance clubs. Very very very few of those girls made an ECNL team this spring.

How come NO good players from the Crossfire, THUSC, or FCP clubs ever move to a Timbers Alliance club? There must be a reason. Are the Timbers Alliance clubs really that BAD? We all know the answer, don't we...
