There is no mandate. It's advised. Please don't perpetuate false information. I say this, as you were also likey to have been presented false information. Clubs and associations are hiding behind the Governor, implying or out and out spreading bad information.

    There is no mandate. Period.

“Gov. Jay Inslee issued a travel advisory for Washington today, recommending a 14-day quarantine for interstate and international travel and asks residents to stay close to home.“

Agree - best to be clear and why posting links with the primary source of information is useful. 👍🏼

Is that the first ECNL national event to be cancelled? Wonder if Houston is next for girls ecnl.

Girls Academy still says their Texas event in February is going to be held. Not sure which of the Washington clubs are or aren’t going.

Gunners aren't going to the GAL event in Austin next month. The event is still happening, but the club is too scared to travel.

Is Houston still on. Are all WA ECNL teams out. Heard Cal South out, and Cal North might be out. Heard ICU is full in Houston.

Most Oregon teams still in and looks like a few Cal teams. Isn't canceled yet, but schedules still aren't posted.

First all WA teams now All Cal South and Cal North pulled from ECNL Houston. Basically all the best teams are now not attending. Houston is a Covid hotspot with no ICU beds.

They will manage. Stop overacting. If it wasnt for the travel bans and mandatory quarantine, these teams would be travelling. HS starting up for Washington teams is also a hiccup for this tourney.

Event is “post-poned.” WA ECNL families can relax now knowing they didn’t miss out. I’m surprised they waited just days before the event to cancel.

February in Houston doesn’t seem to work. Hasn’t some or all of that event been cancelled four of the past five years?

Now with SoCal back in full swing in ECNL, expect this showcase in San Diego next year....Maybe even a two.

I don’t think these leagues and tournaments understand, or frankly car about, the amount of work this puts club admins and coaches through when they do this. Not to mention families that now have to cancel a few days out. If you are going to cancel, it needs to be 14 days out, minimum. Girls Academy is still doing their event in Austin. Teams are flying as we speak.
