Is ECNL creating an all Florida league?

Lies, Lies, Lies. Until ECNL posts this, it's just FP running their mouths again.

ECNL won't expand in FL for another few years. They need these ECNL R teams to build up a player pool before they award anything.

Pretty much the same retort we saw posted last year around this time about the boys side. And the result will be the same. FP will have full ECNL. They will be an "all in" club without the split allegiance that TBU has with the MLS. ECNL prefers clubs that truly are "all in"

They used to. But when the DA fell apart and TBU still joined that garbage, ill-fated MLS Next league, that didn't win them any favors. Then, on top of that, they went and gave away their ECNLR spots to WC after having been told they couldn't do that, well, let's just say the ECNL power brokers lost their good feeling for AL. Now, the much prefer FP as a true "all in" club that is growing and exceeding their expectations so far. They believe in "one club, one family" and are on board.

So you know what ecnl is thinking. Basically you are saying don't believe them, believe me. Ecnl has not corresponding with you. Ecnl have been corresponding with Florida Premier.

I've got a buddy whose kid plays on Bubb's team. Bubb has mentioned that FP will be in this year or next and TBU will be shown the door soon after if they don't drop MLS. Bubb is much more connected than TBU.

Did you really just reference Sean Bubb? HAHAHAHAHA! I would not trust anything he says, even before he starts drinking. Just go check out one of the 20-30 FESA threads.

Right because Bubb knows TBU is much better than his club on the girls side, and FP would be an easy 4/5 goal won for all fesa teams.

I just don’t see why ECNL would do it. FP has very good ECRL teams but they have not done well against ECNL teams. The only way to get better in the short run is to take players from TBU. Then ECNL would have two mediocre clubs in Tampa. What’s the point?

Florida premier has a prime location for growth. They are the perfect club for full ecnl. Besides that fpfc's ecnl team is better than tbu's mls team. Ecnl has to certainly take that into consideration.

Here is what ECNL is thinking or evaluating.
1 does Tampa Bay have enough talent to support four top teams, two MLS Elite and two ECNL?

2 do we want to have teams that are the second team from a club in our league that they consider on par with MLS Elite teams.

My opinion there is not enough talent. Then the question is do they drop TBU and hope the best players from TBU ECNL go play for FP making them stronger and maintaining a standard that clubs must put their top teams in the league.

Time will tell us what happens.
