That’s a pretty good plan. Jan is going to be a Covid and flu and weather mess. Triple practices come end of Feb and for now just go sledding, or skiing.

Not sure why some of the clubs who can’t secure indoor space don’t continue to train outdoors most days especially on weekends are still mild and above freezing. Bayside does it all winter.

Seriously, though, I think it's working fine right now, with no snow on the ground and moderate temperatures. Definitely worth a shot.
Some clubs either haven't thought about doing it, or can't cope with practices that might or might not happen. May be tough for some clubs to have that arrangement with their coaches. Takes a lot of flexibility and TBH an extra level of commitment on the coaches' part.
