speaking of the Susa 3rd team...I think they lost against Barca.(with guests and a screaming coach)
Every game that Barca played for their 2007 team they looked like the bosses on the field.(except the first game they played-they were a mess)
They had GOOD possession and control over the ball.
Barca is so far advanced it is like looking at cavemen playing soccer for them.
ALL teams will have a Catalan at LEAST once a week.
they LOVE not the 2nd kid. The kid who has talent and loves to play ,but doesn’t play the top team or Get starter time BECAUSE they are not superstar athletes.
        Soccer players-1st
        Athletes-(anyone can train)

Eh, I don't think that's as big a deal as people on these threads make it out to be. Plenty of fields on Long Island, they'll land somewhere.

And not just once, EVERY time they had a tough game! You couldn't even get that to happen for the 2nd team, never mind the 3rd, lol. And supposedly for a 3rd team that wasn't even struggling for players-because "they already have a large roster for girls"???

Come on now, you gotta do better than that!

That being said, if my kid were on Susa's 3rd team, I'd probably check out other local cheaper options.
Not sure about 3rd team, but definitely true with 2nd team (and not just the hard games).

Barca girls don’t have any competitive teams. They are lower level teams and there is nothing wrong with that. If the girls have fun that’s what it’s all about.

That 1st Susa team sucks. They would get killed by East meadow. They are good athletes. They could win at basketball...or some other sport...soon the players and teams that can really make decisions on the ball will win. Your lights out players will get less and less dominant...very very soon.

The 2007 team, who played East Meadow twice this season-beat EM 2-0 & tied 2-2 and are in 1st place in their conference. Weird that someone would write that when the standings are easily looked up.

Um, the Susa 2007 ECNL team has 15 girls on the roster (even checked game-day rosters submitted to ECNL that the league posts), impossible that 4 players from a 15 player team would play on the 2nd or 3rd team and leave their own team with just 11 players. You people are really something, lol!

                            Susa:
                            Finishing...check
                            Passing patterns...check
                            Sweeping...check
                            Athleticism...check

Soccer decisions....listen to your coach or parents scream
To tell you what to do.
If that fails coach and parents scream louder and yell at the other team and sidelines.
                            Mail check repeat.

1- you are assuming everyone is talking about the 2007 age group (which is not true)
2- you are assuming ECNL team always plays on the same day as the 2nd or 3rd team (which is not true)
3- you are ready “4 players” very literally. Could just be a rough number that varies from game to game.

Truth is that almost every ECNL club does this. It’s something that both PDA and FC Stars cited as a reason they left the DA; that the DA was too restrictive not letting their players play with teams outside the DA, which hurt development opportunities for end of the bench players.

?????????Poster literally said they knew someone on the 2007 4th team who said players from the top team played on the lower level teams for every tough game.

?????????ECNL games are on Saturdays & Sundays-2 games a weekend. Other leagues play their games either Saturday or Sunday.

????????Poster said 4 PLAYERS, how else am I supposed to read that?

-Truth is hardly any ECNL club does this. There is very little movement between the 1st and 2nd teams at all, never mind the 1st & 3rd.
-PDA & Stars cited DA being too restrictive about teams outside DA regarding High School teams, ODP, PDP & Red Bulls teams, not their ECNL B teams.
