Go and check out the threads in CT. 2 2007 players formerly from Ginga were playiong on OW 2006's last year. They were going to leave unless their kids were put on OW 2005 team, so OW caved and did it. These parents are certifiable ... the worst kind of youth sport parents, always have the finger on their kids scales .... snowplowing their path for them and hovering every step of the way .... yelling like fools during games. TOTALLY F'ed up people and the kids are a package deal. One is pretty big for her age but that will now be gone totally as they get older and play up two years and the other keeps riding the coat tails .... her play was mediocre last year. Will be in over her head this year again. One very good player for her age and the other decent .... but no reason to play up a year, let alone two .... unless you play in an absolutely pathetic league ....

The CT board started a specific thread for this clown to brag about this kid. Might end up being one of the most notorious soccer parents in the Northeast. Coming onto an out of state board to brag on your kids team (that she never suited up for yet) is really bringing things to a new level. Amazing actually.

Oakwood is a very good team. Would beat all of the New England clubs but lose to PDA by 4. They are so stacked it’s ridiculous.

Look at the commitments on the CT side of Top Drawer. Clearly the top kids in CT don't play at Oakwood. This is clearly the work of some clown parent (with ECNL envy) trying to make their kids team relevant. If they are good, just take the core and go to an ECNL team (CT has two). That lets you play against the big dogs in the region (Penn Fusion, PDA, Stars)and also at the PDA event and ECNL playoffs if the team is good enough.

Nothing gets settled by some parent organized summer jamboree.

I would say that Oakwood team is the second best 05 team on the east coast. PDA 05 would beat them all day long though. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them get together for a friendly. Not sure what other 05s would beat either team.

The new FC Bucks team is better than both of them.

FCV and Oakwood are better than anything the ECNL has to offer other than PDA. Both teams would give them a tough game. @CASL maybe?
