Question, and I don't know the answer. There is a large showcase tournament in WA mid July. Will college coaches be able to attend and watch ?

Still think Crossfire is insane to think they are going to be able to hold a tournament in Mid-July. Maybe a bunch of local teams would be possible, but bringing in teams from other areas, states doesn’t seem responsible.

I realize that some clubs make a lot of money off the summer tournaments. But heaven forbid, if local health concerns and the players were top priorities, they should just start up ECNL/RCL/etc. leagues within two weeks of phase 3, or create a schedule of friendlies during whatever is left of summer (easily financed with summer tournament fees). Get in as many games as possible in case there is a second wave that shuts the season down. With few if any out of state teams at the summer tournaments, everyone will be playing the same old teams anyway. Under the circumstances, bringing hundreds of people to one central location does not seem worth it.

Hopefully they will be able to pull this off.
