If true that's pathetic even for a low level club team, let alone DA. Of course, plenty of other DA coaches don't have their require licensure. But at least they have coached at a decently high level, even college

It's not true as he spent time at Virginia Rush as well. Take a look at FC Dallas or Atlanta United U13 coaches. Virtually the same pedigree, or less impressive. Look at the Sounders U15 coach whose coaching experience is coaching community college. All clubs that most here would agree have better programs. I have plenty of complaints about the revs academy, but don't see the point in making easily disproven statements that make your entire argument look weak.

Ms. SLP should be crowing at her wild success raising funds for the TS owner! It's the intangibles like how a coach communicates with players, adjusts instructions based on what each player needs, motivates players etc. as well as soccer IQ, ability to read games etc. Taking classes is a required part of the job as is experience. But some coaches will just "have it" or have it quickly, while others may struggle or never really get it

The sign of a good teacher is someone who can communicate knowledge and fire a passion in their students. The fact that the Revs don’t do the first and don’t even know how to do the second shows how useless they are. Scales only hires pee-ons, are you listening Mr PO?
