Even if it went in front of Congress they'd pass it anyway. It helps them (many Congressional members are wealthy) and it helps their wealthy donors (more money in their election coffers). He doesn't need to bypass Congress but will just because of midterm optics.

What else could they possibly get passed before more tax cuts for the wealthy? Businesses don’t lose trust in Trump over tariffs because he will give $100 billion in tax cuts.

The most frustrating thing about Trump's sheeple is that the whole effect of tax cuts is lost on them. Those cuts by and large benefit the most wealthy among us, and they then create a deficit which we are all obligated to deal with - both the negative fallout from the deficit spending like a weaker dollar, and the country's inability to invest in its future. Immigration - legal and illegal - has been flat even leading up to 2016. They're not flooding our borders except in Trump's imagination. Much of our population growth from nonwhites is from people already residing in the US - you know, legal resident brown skinned folks having babies. You Make America White Again folks can't handle our changing demographics.

Did you know legal immigration from China and India now outpaces Mexico? I don't hear the president calling for that to stop. Just Hispanics. I'm sure you'll counter with illegal immigration. Well, that has been in decline as well. Govt statistics say so.
