I don't know honestly but I wonder if they planned it all along as way to sneak into ECNL through the back door. LMAO if it is.

Regardless of Breaker/NEFC adding five more clubs is a 2nd shot across the USSF bow (first being boys ECNL). Who waves the white surrender flag first, or do they both go down on sinking ships?

I love how Breakers/NEFC control this region now. ECNL is eating on their hands...and isn't this a little too late?
ECNL with this move is trying to keep all good talents there, knowing that Breakers/NEFC are positioned to take DAP in this area.
Scenes of next chapters: Will NEFC/Breakers use ECNL for one year and then tell them see ya, or will give them life?
One thing for sure: JD is feeling useless, but above all powerless. JD earth, earth JD.

So ecnl gives a 3'rd ecnl to B breakers without asking them who will field and coach the kids in your mind?

You missed the part in the announcement that said these clubs were making multiple year commitments to ECNL...

Maybe dumb question but don't ECNL teams join in two's so they can have a partner to go to away weekends? Sorry if this is obvious.

Elite will play DAP and premier ECNL. Simple.

Even that is questionable with a boys ECNL league coming. Would you stay on the Bolts or do ECNL and be able to play HS. It's one thing to do the Revs (for free) but to pay for Bolts? Meh....

Not a chance of clubs having both...

Not so simple. If ECNL keeps the majority of clubs under its wing there won't be enough top quality clubs to fill GDA. Well, they may fill it but it will be smaller and a big travel burden for those willing to do it

I think it will be player choice.

Maybe the clubs in the two leagues can have a price war to get good players. That would be a positive development.

Maybe they just want rich players and talent is besides the point in which case nothing will change and we can continue to have country club, just a larger one.

For 2016-2017, I'm guessing Elites will play ECNL and Premier teams will play NPL. Who knows what will happen with GDAP, maybe nothing.

Still think it will tough for uber competitive parents to turn down a spot for their player on a GDAP team.
