Stars west dad/mom is MAD at you list boy. Don't mess with the west or you die like the rest.

Join the line. A lot of posters angry at List guy but we still enjoy the banter. Any predictions for an overall state cup winner. They do it in Vegas so List Guy give us the odds on each team. If you pulled that off then I would be really impressed. How about FCB 30-1? Just kidding.

taking a break from lawyering....odds on State Cup:

NEFC 4-1.....going strong. Good balance and tournament tested recently for sure.
Stars 5-1.....still good odds but should be lower for a team of their pedigree....
FCB 6-1.....decent odds here. Recent play is a mixed bag...PDA not that long ago. Good recovery since then though. Do the Club distractions take their toll?
GPS 7-1......why any lower? Could make the case based on recent play that they should be higher; very good GK helps a lot and they'll be in every game....but inconsistency is an issue.
Aztec 9-1....good odds here....if there is a "darkhorse" it's this team...if the good team shows up, they can take it all...a fast and really good D probably keeps their games close....an enigma. Physically tough but is there enough? We'll see.
GPS South 18-1....winning State Cup will require them to come up big more than once...but they have proven they can play with anybody so that will help.
Stars West 25-1....a very good team but cannot run the table...but can be a spoiler for sure. Same as GPS S - they have proven in a game or two they can play with anyone....
CSU 40-1...tough for them to go all the way but can definitely be a spoiler...Stars watch out!

Prediction? Tough to say but NEFC has inside track, well balanced and well coached.......If Stars flexes their ECNL muscle they can easily win this all....however goal differential will keep Aztec in every game.....somehow I feel like if Aztec can just score they'll be in this to the end...but in the end, NEFC will take it because of their balance. PDA was no fluke.

Prefer to work from facts rather than opinions, but here goes.

State Cup Predictions - First Weekend
Stars and NEFC win by uh-lot. Likely 4+ to nil
GPS NPL edges Stars West by 1 (had to pick one)
FCB betters Aztec 2-0 (close the whole game, may even be 0-0 at half) - Has this been scheduled?

Thoughts:
Will CSU put 9 in the box? Even get one on frame? Stars back field just too strong
GPS NEP all-stars haven't played together. NEFC speed, passing frequency, and patterns too much.
GPS NPL and Stars West is a pick 'em. I pick GPS - they stuck up for me. This is the game to watch, for those in Lancaster go to field #11
Aztec riding high, plays tough first half. FCB nets one midway through 2nd half, then gets counter late when Aztec presses.

Happy to be wrong, makes writing The List more fun.

List Guy goes 3-3 with Saturday predictions.
I was able to watch NEFC and GPS games on adjacent fields. Games went exactly as he described above. GPS South Goalie and defenders played great under constant assault. GPS NPL controlled 2nd half, almost got snakebit on Stars west counter, but netted one in final minute on rebound from free kick off cross bar. Close game.
