Originally posted by Unregistered View PostNEFC is also running birth year clinics that don't mention BBA. I realize that the 2004 girls would be Pre-ECNL (will they still be called Elite at U13 I wonder) and all the boys are not BBA related, but the 2003 and older girls also have their own ID clinics... Is this just another way to ID their ECNL pool you think??? Figure between these and the one's through BBA directly, they could have their ECNL slots all filled by the time "real" tryouts roll around.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostOne would hope that aside from looking at a given players abilities, the coaches also consider team chemistry. There are some teams that are very dysfunctional, primarily because of players and/or parents that behave badly. It would be a shame to ruin a good team by picking up a potential typhoid Mary, just because she can play. Sometimes it just take one bad apple to mess up a good thing.

Washington State last year, twice. The only way ecnl is worth playing, is if you can opt out of these tournaments. More showcases your d will ever need, are on the east coast, and don't fly any further than South Carolina. The regular season competition is good in ecnl, and even the bottom teams can give you a game ,sometimes.
