Perhaps this is not a complete list, however, there are a greater number of Bolts kids listed going to D1 schools than any other club. After that, it seems that NEFC has a number of boys listed for all categories.

What % of athletes going to the d3 schools are letters of intent? Are these recruited players, or kids hoping to play at their respective school? Seems there should be a lot more at the d3 level. Impressive list, either way.

With Div 3 athletes there is no letter of intent. The only binding agreement would be if a student-athlete applies early decision (ED). This often improves his chances of getting accepted. Very difficult to get out of once someone decides to go down that path.

First: why is this an impressive list?
Second: does anyone know how many kids on a particular club go to colleges that the coaches coach at?? e.g. BA has taken four Bolts player to Northeastern.

SNHU picked up another Bolt transfer from franklin pierce last year.

They do not post their new players until mid July, which is strange. they seem to do a very good job picking up Revs, Bolts and seacoast players. either kids are transfers or don't get into other schools for what ever reason.

I rarely see players go from this program to div 1. it seems to pick up players from Div 1.

A very very competative Div 2 program. I suspect that the academic rigors of this school are attractive. kids I know at this school really like it.

Coach was an assistant at UNH....

There's a first. "academic rigors" in the same post with SNHU. Unless you mean lack therof

The list is impressive for the number of students headed for D1 soccer, because the number is greater than the long-term average (of 12-15, recalling other posts).

The example of several bolts going to northeastern is an anomaly, IMO. There hasn't been a pattern in the past of numerous students from that club attending that university, nor has it been reported for other Mass. colleges (only some of whose coaches are involved in club soccer).

Academic rigor? A school with an admit rate of 85% and SAT's that average 500/500/500? Listen, I'm sure it's a fine school and fits a need but let's not make it out to be something it is not. Quite frankly, if the best my son could do was to get into SNHU then I would have serious regrets not having worked harder on his academics as opposed to kicking a soccer ball.

Listen, I'm sure it's a fine school and fits a need but let's not make it out to be something it is not. Quite frankly, if the best my son could do was to get into SNHU then I would have serious regrets not having worked harder on his academics as opposed to kicking a soccer ball.

Huge haul for Brandeis....looks like they are going to contend for top D3 in the area for the next 2-3 years at least.

And more kids to Middlebury than in recent years, which pretty much has been zero.
