Many of the top clubs aren't putting their best teams in the DA here.

Says a lot though when PAC NW embarrassed cu all year.

Tip of the hat to those teams that choose to go to Surf vs trying to hide in the Beaverton Cup

Teams that played in Beaverton Cup this year, like PCU and BSC, probably shouldn't waste their money at Surf. Beaverton Cup is a great tournament for that level of player.

Yes, have teams play at appropriate level. Many parents/club/coaches wrapped up in saying they play in "Surf cup" instead of playing at correct level. No shame in Beaverton Cup if that's the right level.

The same could be said about 90% of the Oregon teams competitive in the Ecnl league. Appropriate level of competition is a joke considering nearly all of them are doormats or wasting their time flying 5 hours to play teams that wouldn't even be top 3 in Oregon like some of the Oregon Ecnl teams.

You do realize your "5 hour" message is getting old. I like the ECNL PDA event as several girls from our team have an interest in east coast schools

Right. Far more worthwhile to spend 12 hours on a bus to play a Burlingame team that wouldn't win a single game in OYSA division 2. Enjoy that bus ride girls!

                  Loses to PAC NW 2-1

It's pretty clear that Ecnl mean jack when it comes to quality and evidently none of cu's teams can actually beat any team Ecnl or not it seems.
CU's 01's are undefeated and on to the semifinals. I assume GPS is the same? Oh...shoot. Ran your mouths before the games were played, didn't you? Well that's embarrassing.

                    CU parent,
Having been to Surf several times and always played in the Super Black group each time, nothing is more obnoxious than a Mom saying we won Surf Cup. What they fail to tell you is we were not in the Super Black and we were not in the Super White, but we were in the Black (BTW Black is tier 3). Advance out of Super Black and then puff your chest.

                    Respectfully Onyx

Ha! Nice try troll. We love the parents from Onyx. The girls were great mentors to our girls and we are excited to watch ALL of them play in college. Where are the GPS grads playing their college ball? Oh...that's right.

Not too many of the top clubs have joined DA, only about 95% of them.

Unless of course the run away and forfeit.

I assume you mean "they" not "the" and by "they" you mean CU since they have a habit of running away from GPS whenever the possibility arises.

Go all the way to San Diego to play a consolation game against an OYSA team. Huge disappointment for CU.
