    .
Actually CU and FC P play in division that will probably change it's name for the 3rd straight year due to club turnover, last year 'Mountain', this year 'Pacific' next year? 'Siberian'? who knows. We pay for all travel to 'showcases' all over the country. Travel expenses for us in the Siberian division is skyrocketing going forward and if it' pencils out to less than 15k next year that will be economical.

Not that it's relevant but nearly 80% of the girls that get robust aid from top d1 schools are part of So. Cal clubs that are moving to the USDA. Same girls from the same clubs no matter what league they play in will get the spoils of top college placement and scholarships. Oregon Girls aren't part of this discussion.

Plus the NWSL is very unpopular throughout most of the country. Pro pay is very very low.

Will they last very long? Opinions?
Yeah but nobody cares. Lock them in the DA warehouse where we won't have to hear from them any more.

Oregon parents don't realize their girls aren't part of the discussion. Oregon parents line up to drink up any Kool Aid they can find. Willing to pay any monetary or time price when it's the SoCal & other girls that will reap the rewards.

You really think if the Thorns takes off it won't be the same thing? $2k is more than most local clubs, outside ECNL.
          Nope.

The GDA warehouse? Where the ghosts of high school kids hide out.

It's called ghosting. Where they are enrolled in school but don't participate in any sports or functions or go to prom..etc.

Lots of kids "ghost", and do so for reasons unrelated to elite sports training.

And what's wrong with it, anyway? The purpose of school is education, not after-school activities. Activities are not a bad thing, but the important part of school is what happens between 8 and 3, not what happens afterwards.

So what. School sucks. If you can get a pro contract do it.

The sooner you end high school the better. Distractions aren't good for the goal to build better soccer players.

Academy players are being strongly encouraged to home school. Many have already made that choice. With greatness comes sacrifice. Those who choose to spend 6 hours a day at school will fall behind.

How are parents supposed to homeschool when they have jobs?

There are online resources that kids can use to reach their selves. Much of it is free.

Connections Academy will educate them for you so you don't have to miss a minute of work. And thanks to President Trump pretty soon you'll be able to get your tax dollars back from your local school district and use them to pay for online schooling. Win-win!
