The team is doing just fine without her, in fact they're actually scoring more-feel free to look up the stats yourself SAYONARA!!!

Full story-Kid got subbed out after more than half a game against a very weak team, after she had already scored, to get some other kids some playing time. Her Parents effing FREAKED OUT, kid (from what I heard) was an inconsolable mess. Whole family up in arms, since she had never been subbed out of a game in over a year of playing with this club.
Next game, against a much stronger team, kid struggles through over 2/3 of the game before coach subs her out. Within minutes, team finds it's groove and comes back to score 2 goals to tie the game. Kid quits the team. End of story.
To reiterate what others are saying, this is the M.O., this is how this family/player roll. Decent enough player, but not good enough to excuse the drama & baggage.

Seems like an over reaction but I will say this. Across the board, every family should object to these giant rosters regardless of league. Ecnl can only bring 18 which is already too many and gda has those unforgiving subbing rules.
No roster should have more then 18 and parents as a group should object and stop tolerating the situation. It always leads to playing time dissatisfaction ...always. the clubs could care less as is in evidence at almost every one of them so the parents should unite and put a stop to it.

Capitulating to toddlers never works in the long run

What a crazy lesson to teach a kid. When the going gets tough, just say "F this" and run away!
