Power 5 and ND are guaranteed 4 years in terms of athletic performance. Can’t be revoked for poor performance on the field. Can be revoked for other reasons, ie: poor academic performance, rules violations, etc.

Poor performers usually drop out or transfer. Coaches make it glaringly obvious you're not cutting it by never giving you PT.

They're rarely a contender. The area isn't a hot bed of club activity either so you won't get club parents from club-saturated towns like Fairfield or Westport droning on about how good their kid's HS team is. But there have been a few players come out of there in the last few years. I just don't know their names because I don't pay an attention to it enough. Truthfully, who does?

Are other FCIAC standout athletes getting meaningful minutes as juniors or seniors in college?

I'm guessing for the kids who are off the roster it's b/c of lack of playing time. 7 minutes total last year for one of the kids.
