This is the response you get when the person has no answer to the question posed and has to rely solely on insult and denigration to feel superior. It's the response of weakness.

If you could actually show clear cause and effect here behind your implied claim, that would essentially put this debate to bed for now and some time to come.

So we shall wait and let you show us exactly how being part of CFC directly led to this outcome for each player you reference.
So are you just naive or simply trying to rationalize paying for the club that your kid plays for?

CFC doesn’t have magical development by any means but for the last decade they been masterful at aggregating talent. The 2001 placements were nearly identical to what they did for this year’s seniors.

To answer your question about whether or not this would be possible from another club requires an understanding of how soccer recruiting works. Ball sport recruiting is subjective and requires great exposure. Ohio State, Boston college and Georgetown Head coaches don’t show up to the 7th Division games at 3rd tier tournaments. They want to recruit kids that compete well against other D1 bound players.

These past two teams from CFC have had kids that came from all over the state and actually had players from out of state. The 2002 team was ranked top 10 nationally since their freshman year. In the big events they were matched up with other top teams loaded with big time talent. Massive exposure for everyone involved. Top kids went to big schools and the kids coming off the bench had huge exposure and all got picked up my mid majors. Many of these players had huge commutes to CFC but they did it for exposure. I fact at u16, three top players from FSA jumped to take advantage

You can draw your own conclusions but the bottom line is that these kids don’t end up at these schools without this exposure. Also doesn’t hurt that the staff are all college coaches and work their connections on behalf of the players.

For what’s it worth, I could careless about the other clubs in CT. What happened here won’t happen anywhere else

These are parents of young players spewing this nonsense. Possession for the sake of the possession doesn’t impress anyone especially when it’s in your own defensive third.

The older United teams play good soccer. No one has much successful in high level club games without keeping it on the ground and playing.

FSA on the other hand plays defend and counter with most of their teams. In most instances they just don’t have the talent in 11 positions to play a possession game. If you lack the athletes and kids with technical ability you aren’t playing possession

Ow has their own examples. Look at the results of the u17 DA team in their winter event. I’m sure they tried to play but were obviously overwhelmed by superior teams. In that situation playing defend and counter might actually help

The shine is going to come off this thing with the 2003 team. They are not good and they play ugly.

Only salvation for CFC is that the 2004 team is solid and will restore order

The 2003 team will be much better this year. They have added a few players and 1 was a GK that was the teams biggest issue last year. The 1 returning GK had a very good high school season and a few players returned from injury. The team will be fine this year.

Assessing the fitness of teenage girls you don't know. That isn't too creepy.

Now you’re being silly. The games are on the weekends during daylight hours, duh.
