Either that is a joke or you are a cold hearted jerk. Must be one of those GDA koolaid drinkers.

What club do you play for? ECNL clubs allow trapped players to play...Stars is allowing trapped players to play with the 06's this weekend

Considering they did the change before GDA existed, not one USWNT player was in GDA or had this issue, and the men's NT still blows. Your idiotic response is just that, idiotic. Calendar year/relative age effect issues are the least of the problems facing US soccer right now. RAE is barely a thing internationally and 99.999999% of youth soccer players will never set foot on an international field. It's a questionable benefit to a very small number of players vs a significant detriment to thousands every year.

I agree as parent of trapped player it really does create a disadvantage for no real reason...

And yes ECNL does allow trapped players to play down but I believe capped at 4 per game
we were told 2 at one point as well. But then that disrupts the 06 team....plus will mostly be done on ECRL teams.

So, the kids that used to be considered as having and advantage in the past, are now trapped.

Many papers written, (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/...0%3E3.0.CO;2-1) many suggestions proposed. So far when US Soccer proposed bio banding - they were laughed at.

That jerk that made the comment above praising US soccer must work for them or for one of these academies that care about the $ and nothing else...shame to see good kids impacted in a negative way.

To add I think USWNT is so hypocritical, they promote good sportsmanship but run up the score on teams constantly, they verbalize how much they care about human rights, yet youth soccer is strictly a pay to play middle/upper class sport that generally shuts out many underprivileged and minority girls....itís a real shame. They should be protesting whatís happening at the youth levels not how much they get paid!
