Don’t even sweat it. Half the 06 ecnl team doesn’t really deserve to be there. The dad coach is protecting his daughters spot and her friends spots. When change comes to FC bucks they will all be ecnl washouts too. This is why they are so vocal all over these message boards. They know their days are numbered and they just want to keep the status quo.

We need to stop airing our dirty laundry on here. While, yes, the trolls are guilty, so are we. We need to bring our issues straight to the club. Peace.

Serious question, what makes Delco any better or worse than Bucks? I know it is kind of like arguing who is the least worst - but Delco teams generally seem to place higher across the age groups, and Delco had more players selected for all conference teams and national camps.

This is Raphael, the soccer policeman for this site. I’ve gotten a complaint about a parent cursing out a 12 year old kid. I’ve read the thread from beginning to end, and besides some hippie mom sounding like a crazed lunatic, I didn’t see any evidence of the claim. Just a suggestion: bring it down a notch.

What gives FC Bucks a better future is having CRUSA. CRUSA gives FC Bucks a decent player base when starting new teams. Delco has to depend on kids coming from other clubs, they have no player base anymore. If FC Bucks were better organized they would be far and away the best club in the area but they still are better than Delco.

It’s true. crusa is just huge. Given how big the feeder program is it is crazy that bucks is as bad as it is.

If fc bucks were well managed it wouldn’t need deep run. Crusa people jump ship and head to better managed clubs while deep run people stay because they either don’t have any other options geographically or they are too dumb to realize how bad fc bucks is

Are you saying CRUSA kids are fillling the rosters of PDA, Continental, Penn Fusion? There might be 3 kids across all age groups where this is true. The rest may jump ship but its most likely because they are cut from ECNL and declined to play NPL.

The truth is CRUSA always relied on kids from outside the club to form competitive FC Bucks teams because they don't develop enough of them on their own. The club is run and managed like any other in the area (local travel/rec) until U11 and that just started 2 years ago. All of the other ECNL and DA clubs in PA and NJ provide professionsl coaches from day 1. Lower Merion, Ukies, Harleysville, and West Mount do the same this is why they are often mentioned as ECNL candidates.

FC Delco gets the leftover players, they have to take all players that show up in order to fill out rosters. FC Delco have lost the majority of the quality coaches on their staff, both on the boys and girls sides, so not only are they starting off with less talent, they don't have a good enough staff to develop what they do have.
The sad part about FC Bucks is they have one of the best players pools in all of the Philly area, and because they are so poorly managed they are one of the worst clubs in the ECNL. With the right people running FCB, they could quickly bounce back. They need to make some serious changes and soon!

How many CRUSA kids are on the ECNL teams? The answer is not many. They DO NOT develop players.
