No huge surprises here, other than maybe the Brooks/RL draw and Nobles having a close one. BH over BBN is probably the most significant result--BH takes an early lead for the few Class A spots.

Old timer here. What happened to Lawrence? 4th year in a row (I may be off by 1 or 2) doing really badly.
They did well when Amadu was there and then a year or two after he graduated. After that program went downhill. All the other programs seem to have stayed fairly consistent with the level of play and success rate. Top programs continue to be Milton, Bel Hill, Nobles, Rivers, BBN and Middlesex. LA has joined Thayer, St George’s and Governors at the bottom.

St. George’s beat Groton 2-1. That’s a big upset. Anyone see this game and can share what happened?

Groton dominated the first half possession and scored first. SG appeared to be very overmatched but came to halftime tied 1-1 on a fluky free kick bounce. 2nd half was more even. SG had more chances and eventually took the lead on a nice individual effort. They parked the bus and held on for the upset. Good game all around.

Not a good result for Milton as this is a rebuild year for BK as they lost a lot of starters to graduation.

Seemed to be a lot of bad calls on that game, but still, Milton should have pulled it off. The offense was lagging.

Milton has essentially a team of middle of the pack GPS players who really aren't soccer players per se. Kane is carrying too many bodies and they all are mediocre. Not one stands out and is a difference maker.

Saw the entire game. Milton was outplayed. There's a palpable lack of athleticism on that Milton team. Very unexciting bunch. I nodded off.
